FAQ
Questions we hear often
These are the practical points producers and editors ask us before a first job. If yours is not here, the contact page is the quickest way to ask.
- 01How quickly can a crew get to a story?
- It depends on where the story is and who is free that day. We are based in Chichester, so the south coast is the easiest to reach. Tell us the location and deadline and we will say plainly what is realistic.
- 02Can you work to our house style and delivery format?
- Yes. Send us your specification for frame rate, loudness, caption style and file type, and we will deliver to it. If you have graphics or lower-third templates, we can use them in the edit.
- 03Do you only work for television channels?
- No. We deliver for broadcast and for online and digital news teams. The formats differ, so we ask at the start where the piece will run and prepare versions for each place.
- 04What do you need from us to start a job?
- A short brief is enough: the story, the location or studio need, who we are meeting, your deadline and where the files should go. Contact names on site are very helpful.
- 05Can you record interviews remotely?
- Yes. We record short interviews on location or by remote link, with attention to lighting, sound and framing. Remote recordings depend on the guest's connection, so we agree a fallback beforehand.
- 06Will you caption our clips?
- Captioning is part of Video Editing and Delivery. We caption to your style and check the text against the audio, so names and technical terms are right before the files are sent.
- 07Can you help fix slow approval and editing steps?
- That is the purpose of Newsroom Workflow Setup. We review how material moves from ingest to delivery, point out where it stalls, and agree simpler steps with your team.
- 08How do ordering and payment work?
- You send an enquiry through the contact page, we reply with a written quotation or confirmation, and then issue an invoice paid by bank transfer. Cancellations follow our payment and refund policy.
