Accessibility Statement
Accessibility of this website: the measures taken, known gaps and how to contact us.
Last updated: 19 October 2026
showbura wants showbura.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who rely on assistive technology. This statement describes the measures taken, the limitations we are aware of and how to reach us.
1. Our commitment
We treat accessibility as part of building and maintaining this website, not as a separate task. Whenever a page is added or the design changes, we check that the content can still be read with a screen reader, used with a keyboard and enlarged in the browser. This statement covers the pages published under showbura.com.
2. Conformance
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. The site is currently partially conformant: most content meets the guidelines, while the points listed below do not yet. Where a requirement cannot be met right away, we provide the information in another way.
3. What we do
Pages are built with semantic HTML: headings follow a single order, lists are marked as lists and links say where they lead. Navigation and content form separate regions, the language of each page is declared, and informative images have alternative texts while decorative ones are marked as such.
Text, links and buttons are shown with a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against their background. Sizes are set in relative units, so text can be enlarged in the browser without content being cut off, and links, menus and form fields can be used with the keyboard alone.
4. Known limitations
Some pictures are general illustrations and carry a short alternative text rather than a detailed description.
5. Feedback
If you come across a barrier on this website, or cannot find information you need, please tell us by email at hello@showbura.com or by telephone on 01243 530186. It helps to name the page, describe what happened and mention the browser or assistive technology you used; we aim to answer within five working days.
6. Preparation and review
This statement is dated 19 October 2026 and is based on a self-assessment by showbura, not on an external audit. We tested the navigation, the contact form and the main page types ourselves with a keyboard, browser zoom and a screen reader, and we review the text once a year and whenever the website is rebuilt.
